extract meter

Spotted this whilst looking to get hand held unit repaired. Sound like good bit kit.

It's easier to use the hand held density meter they produce.

Maybe it just filters couple ml's via inbuilt filter interesting to know if anyone has used one as to the pro's and con's.
They do make top quality equipment.

I had an online chat with them, asked if the portable one could be used to measure OG and FG without degassing and filtering . . . . was asked to follow a link to find their local agents and contact them.

Fair enough I suppose at this time of year.

BB, How did you get on with getting a service/repair? I'd imagine it's not cheap?

I cannot comment on such a subject  :D

The hand held is 2-3 k from Anton as you know  ;) but I guess the cost of repair would probably equal one of these units.
