8 cornies stripped and cleaned today and these soldiers this afternoon

Yes its a Bugger, all this cleaning and sanitising and even sterilising things to put yeast into!

So whats the answer?

Cobalt 60 !! Its about time us brewers took a leaf out of the medical products industry and persuade somebody in AliExpress or the like to come up with a small, HB sized Cobalt 60 Gamma Ray steriliser unit.

Just irradiate the Fekk out of the crud and as they say "Bob is your Fannys Aunt".

At uni in the 70s we had a BIG C60 thingy in the Nuclear Science building. And guess what it was mainly used for?

If you irradiated a pint pot it came out black (and not radiactive) and slowly changed colours as the glass released its nuclear stresses.

Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Leann ull

Ucking hell Prof did you ever have nuclear stresses?

Can't see anybody producing a unit that small for any kind of reasonable money, great idea though. I wonder would it produce toxic/noxious waste that you would have trouble disposing of?
