Maybe I've never noticed before but I set my regulator to 20psi to carb and I hear a hissing from the JG fitting attached to the regulator. Has anyone else experienced this me know how to patch it up?

Your cuts need to be straight, ideally with a pipe slice and pipe fully located in the fitting, ideally with no strain or bend close the connection, if your setup needs a bend say for at the back of a tap use a 90 Degree fitting.
Use starsan or dilute washing up liquid to test for leaks.

+1 to what John says.

Always best to do a pressure test on the system:

1. Set every thing up, dial in the presuure for the kegs and then turn off the bottle.

2. Wait - if pressure drops in 30 mins : Big leak that you should be able to hear.
           - if it takes an hour or two then its a small leak that can be detected with starsan or dilute wasingup liquid
            - if it holds for a day or more then you are good to go.

JG fittings dont leak per. se., its the tubing that is pushed into them. If you bend the tube sharply then it will leak as you break the o-ring seal (use 90 bends as above).

Also they are not meant to be used as quick disconnects. You can get away with it but over time the end of the tube gets roughed up by the tiny stainless steel sharp thing that is in there. Just cut off 1" of pipe and all is well.

If you only use your set up infrequently say at weekend turn off the bottle to be sure.

Also have a second bottle of gas

Aye, when I did up my kegerator I had a few small leaks, all from not cutting the pipe at 90 degrees and making a sharp finish. Put everything into a fermenter filled with water and tracked down all the leaks eventually.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Also had a pipe cutter recently ,they might still have them in store.

Went to homebase, got a pipe cutter, cut the pipe, no hiss or bubbles.

Thanks lads!

I use a sharp Secateurs for cutting pipe, give a clean cut every time.

very clever! I have an ultra sharp one but still went and bought the pipe slice!
