Lads im after a better PH meter than those poxy pens.

How are ye getting on with the group buy meters you got.

Are they worth it.   Was thinking of getting one while the exchange rate is good.

I'm getting one of these from Santy so would also be interested to hear how they worked out.

From my point of view they do exactly what they say... mine has been used in work and put through the ringer..it has held up very well through water, caustic, water and peracetic acid...
Just be careful with the probe ("someone" broke mine in work)

But you have a spare yeah

Nice one. Sounds legit. How often do you calibrate it? I usually only brew every month or so so wondering if I'll need to calibrate it every time. Not a big deal if so I spose.

You need two calibration solutions as well as a storage solution, theres sources for them all on the groupbuy page.

Btw motor, the price of them has gone up by £10 since the group buy.

Yep...all kept safely away from "less then gentle" hands lol
Funny, tho it's not, it got broken by pushing too far into storage bottle...or so I was told

Once a month for a full calibration.. otherwise I just pop it in tap water and see where it is (before I get shot for that, I do compare random samples with the official work one)
