Just realising we don't have an actual discussion thread on the competition itself...

Entry closes in just over a month anyway for anyone looking to enter.

Noticed to ad stopped but their main one still plugging away

Are there many of us entering? I have my brew bottled and conditioning. Tasted it about 3 weeks ago and it was horrible. I was thinking I wouldn't bother entering. Tasted it when I bottled it up and it had MASSIVELY improved.

Didn't get any feedback the first year so not bothering myself. Without critique you can't improve which is an important part of comps for me.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

That's one of the main things we've brought up with them this year. Due a call from one of the brewers this week to discuss judging anyway.

When listing ingredients for your entry do you have to list the amount of grain you used or just what grains used?

no, just what you've used, the winner will have to give a fuller detailed list

I didn't enter previously. Decided to go for it this year for the craic as it's slightly more interesting this time around.

Just a reminder that the closing date for this competition is next Friday the 21st of April! Entries to be received by that date.

Anyone have sugestions on how to get it delivered to them? I don't think there are any drop off points are there?

Saruman (Reuben Gray)

There's only one, that's an office in Dublin. Shipping it is your only option if you can't physically get there.

Saruman (Reuben Gray)

That's what I understood from the page.
