Stickers and tin signs would be class.

Parabellum

Credit card bottle openers with the NHC logo might be nice. You'd never be stuck for a bottle opener again!

Fermenting 1: Zombie Dust AG
Fermenting 2: Zombie Dust Extract
Conditioning 1: Abdji
Conditioning 2: -

Maybe a good idea to do a bundle of specific items ensuring you have a minimum no before purchasing.Some great ideas.

What about a brewday towel.

Based on this classic design:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wow-Stuff-Ltd-PD-1001-towel/dp/B00080XPUY

But as well as our logo, the two ends would be Stout and Lager

Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

I've already taken the above approach, i.e. start small in both numbers and range of goods, with a lead provided by Gerryjo (cheers).

I'm currently getting prices for:

300 glasses
100 t-shirts (of varying sizes - colour options available too)
100 postcard-sized stickers
100 trucker caps
100 mugs

The company in question is UK-based, so need to think about delivery, distribution and payment, should we go ahead with them.
For example, do we get them delivered to Belfast (to save on postage) and then work on getting them divided up amongst the reps of the various clubs for sale to members? That could get messy. How was this done with the glasses in the past?

For t-shirts, we need to think about sizes e.g. out of 100 t-shirts do we go for 50 medium, 20 large and 15 small and 15 XL? Never sold clothes before so don't know the most efficient size distribution on bulk orders.
Colours as well; do we limit to 5 colours (Black, white, red, green, blue)?

Initial signs are that the glasses will be the most expensive of the above, especially if individually wrapped. How much are we prepared to pay for a glass?

Opinions welcomed here.

Cheers,

-Barry

@Bazza,if you have a list of prices would it be possible to email the list to all members to get a general consensus on the most popular requests so as to gauge what is feesable regarding value, delivery and distribution costs for members.

While looking up stuff like this would it be worth getting stickers/signs with the Nhc logo and web address so pubs that host meetings can display if they want as a bit of advertising?

Might be worth doing a survey on that. I'd imagine the average homebrewer is a size up from the average citizen.

Haha! We could also save money on material by removing the area that's normally hidden by huge beards. Should I get a price on sandals too? :P

You joking with the sizes, you would be wanting it nearly the other way round. 50 XL, 20 L, 15 M, 15 S

Yep; my initial guess was just to get the ball rolling. While I concede that 9.999% of potential customers are partial to a beer or two, is 50/100 not a little high for XL?

Anyway. This is a rough draft of proposed costing. Obviously subject to minor change:

tshirt  = 10 euro
glass = 7 euro
hat= 5 euro
sticker = 1 euro
mug   = 6 euro

How does that look for starters?

That's not including postage I assume, although buying in bulk does reduce the price significantly.
