The story late last year going around that Molson Coors were going tobuy the Well has come through. Quote from Protz on beer,
"Craft beer is expected to grow from €24 million to approximately €235 million in retail sales value (c.10%) of the Irish beer market by 2017."
This is happy reading for any one planning (or dreaming of) opening a brewery in the near future here in the auld sod. :)

If anyone wants to explain those figures, fire ahead. What other brewery will they be roughly equal to and how does it effect them as a micro with regard to tax rebates and all that?

I thought there was an ownership clause in that rule that said that if your "group" produced more than 20,000hl that you were no longer able to get the excise duty rebate?
