They don't have it in their shop site but they have it on their website.

Call them and find out.

Maybe that's the do beer gas seperately and to pubs. But CO2 has multiple uses to its probably easier to shift.

Just seem on Twitter that the Motley Brew are going to be doing Co2 refills from next week. This will be excellent if it lasts.

Just saw this now. I like Ian but don't hold your breath. I had a tank in their before Christmas and I had to collect it empty 6 weeks later because they still hadn't made a trip down to AJ. I rang every week and he answer was "I'm going this week". Admittedly he had a fair few things going on at the time. I had two batches "conditioning" from Christmas waiting for gas and didn't start using them until mid Feb.

Unless he is doing tank to tank refills then that's obviously much better (however I doubt it) but if not, it's the same service which was offered before Christmas. .

But this BOC has been a lifesaver and it's round the corner from Motley Brew.

It is tank to tank refills Ian is doing in the shop

My tank died mid closed transfer last night so decided to call in. He's not doing it or never started as the equipment was too expensive. Some pump he needed was crazy money. Don't know why you would advertise a service without costing it up first. Off to Bray I go as I've half in the keg and half still in the fermenter. Got to get it transferred as quickly as possible.

This is disappointing, it would have been a lot easier to get co2 from motley brew, it's hard to get to Aj for a lot of people

From what I know, on the last time I spoke to him is that is he doing runs with your empty tank to get refilled down in Bray. That was in Feb. Which in itself is great. But it's the luck of the draw when that run may be, if its the week you dropped it off or could be 3 weeks later.

Ideally they should do something like only do a refill if you spend €30 or more with them, so you pop in grabbing some bits and dropping off an empty tank and collect it a week or so later. If the runs were done more regularly (ie. a cut off point during the week and a guarantee it would be ready by x time) then I would certainly used them more. I spend a fair bit in there when I go, get two brews worth and extra hops. That would be great for them getting regular custom from regular brewers

But again, I'd said it hard going to have such a shop in Dublin with rates and all that jazz, so its not an enviable position.
