Just been watching some episodes on Sky:

"Save Our Boozer" on 'Blighty', channel 524.

The premiss:

Find a defunct rural village pub thats been closed a while. Enter smart Pub saviour who's revitalised a small chain of pubs.

Form a local committee to renovate and staff the pub and try to make it a going concern.

Pretty good stuff to watch! Especially re. the financing (remember no wages for bar staff/kitchen staff/minimum re-furb costs)

Any one who was EVEN thinking of buying a derilict pub in Ireland should check out a few episodes
