Thirty gallon brewing set up

Hi all
I am new to brewing and last year I bought a brewing set up that can hold thirty gallon of beer. There are three tanks all setup to be in steps above each other. They are gas heated.
I'd like to know how to I calculate the amount of water and grain for such large volume set up!

Just use BeerSmith lots of breweries do, don't be intimidated by it ask questions here if you struggle with it.

I know it's a ridiculously big set up but I bought it through a Facebook forum for very cheap and now I have to figure out how to brew with it. It belonged to a semi commercial guy who left Ireland.

Tbh I get better results with bigger batches, you'll be popular for anybody wanting to do barrel brews.
Just ask lots of questions about BeerSmith, there are other simpler software programs out their but they are not as good and you will grow into it.

@Leon,
If you've never brewed before, start with a 30l bucket and an Ale kit from either The Homebrew Company or HomeBrewWest.
The brewday is only one part of brewing, you have to consider fermentation and packaging also.

30Gal is about 136L so I guess full volume is about 150L.
Hopefully the kit scales and you can do a 10Gal or 5 Gal brew.
Repetition of the process is where you will learn most.

Also - Shame to balls up a huge brew!

Yes - that's my big worry - to make a mess of it and waste grain etc. I wouldn't mind doing a smaller batch with the brew set up if that was possible, just to get into the swing of things.
I've downloaded BeerSmith3 and it's great to play around with, and seems I can scale recipes with it from a book I have. I'll post photos during the week, to show how scary it looks!

You should also consider how your going to package such large volumes of beer? Bottling 130 litres of beer is over 250 * 500ml bottles or around 7 * 19 litres corny kegs or 3 * 50 litre kegs. I suspect unless your going to setting up.a.commercial operation (then your not home brewing) that you might consider a smaller fermenter size other than a 30 gallon one. Woul be interested to see some photos of it. One thing that could be of interest is that if you join one of the existing home brew clubs nearest where you are is that you could do a group brewday. This would allow you brew an uber batch and Have people attend take a portion away with them in either kegs or buckets to ferment at home.

Your fermenter choice is going to be interesting, as well as how you cool it.

You might still be better off using 30L plastic buckets, but you will need a hardcore fermentation fridge, I would try and scour the webs for a commercial display fridge that could potentially house 4x30L plastic buckets
