BeerSmith is awesome but the graphics are a little outdated. Thankfully someone went to the trouble of upgrading the graphics and have made them available for all to use. Downloads and instructions here - https://zembacraftworks.com/2019/07/02/beersmith-icons/

I added this yesterday, its quite nice. Very easy to replace the icon directory. Just be sure to change the current directories name before you do it or you'll lose it, good to have it as back up.

Do you think beersmith is worth a purchase? I've been using brewtarget which is great for a free programme, but it hasn't been updated in a while.

I love it too, I mess around with recipes in it most days.
