NHC vs Beoir?

Maybe a stupid question but if I dont ask I wont know.
Whats the difference between this club and beoir since it seems to have the same people?
And likewise Cork has the lee valley club and the rebel brewers who both meet in the Fransiscan Well....Why 2 clubs?

NHC is a national home brew club.

Some of us are both homebrewers and supporters of micro breweries, hence the cross over between members.

We live in a world which we can have our cake and eat it too. You are allowed by law to be a member of both clubs and even more .

NHC is a grass roots organisation, driven by its members in a direction decided by the members, with only one interest: homebrew. Beoir has fixed policies (constitution) and is driven by two people.

Question should be really what have NHC and Beoir in common, and aside from some members, not a lot.

I thought beoir had elections and voted on issues with members getting a vote, dont see how that is driven by two people? This place seems equally as driven by 1 person if thats the case
