I've been waiting for this for ages, A full version of BeerSmith is now up on the app store. No more having to get out the laptop to design recipes :D

JimmyM

Yeah but you're gonna look like a ponce doing your brew :P

Beer smith will offer a concession to those that have already bought light version to upgrade

Sent from my mediocre phone and an average phone app

I think I'll wait until I get home to download it, or no work will be done here this evening! Is it a once off fee or does your desktop version work in conjunction with it, or what's the story?

I'll just look it up myself! I'm just nervous letting a computer help me design recipes! I like paper and books and that you know!

Shane Phelan

I will probably get it for the iPad. I was considering the android version but surely it would be too small on the phone?

Yea just thinking about this, the ipad was for her to be distracted while her kitchen was turned into the brewhouse... has the phone version been updated as well?

Shane Phelan

Yeah phone versions updated too. I always have my phone with me whereas I only use the iPad at home and I would just be using BeerSmith on the PC there anyway.

It costs about 7 quid, which i dont think is bad. For people that bought the lite version there is some kind of upgrade with discount on the way but how that will work didnt seem to be ironed out yet.

I tend to use the ipad on the couch in the evening so i'm looking forward to being able to design beers using it also.

I tend to print out my recipes when i brew so i can take notes so i dont really use it while brewing. I do often use some of the calculators on the iphone when taking measurements though.
