Mountain Man Brewing

Hey Lads,

I should have posted this ages ago, but I can now announce that we've made final arrangements to complete the round Ireland launch of our flagship beer, Green Bullet pale ale.  Green Bullet will be available at the following launch venues in both bottles and draft:

June 21st The Franciscan Well, Cork
June 24th The Bull and Castle, Dublin
June 26th The Swagman Bar, Sligo

I'll be at all three launches to chat with anyone who'll talk to me. I hope to see you all there soon.

Here's a link to our Facebook page for some more info and distractions during work.

My Commodore 64 can't handle this much data, it must need more beer.

Best of luck to you, Phil. Love the branding.

Sorry Matthew but I won't be making it across the border just yet. There's an outstanding issue over illegal fur trapping and Sligo is about as close as I can get I'm afraid without being nabbed by the the law.

Glad you lads like the branding. There's more where that came from on the way in the future.

;D ;D

Tell us more about your Green Bullet Pale? Are you aiming for something dry or more caramelly? What do you think differentiates your pale ale from others on the market? (There's always room for one more!!  :P )

Hop Bomb

Best of luck! Are your ales US style or UK style ales?
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

Green Bullet is a single hopped US style pale ale.  It's a lightly malted ale with a low level of bitterness to allow the delicate but refreshing flavours from the Green Bullet hops develop.  Our second beer is Hairy Goat and will be available later in the summer.  Hairy Goat is an English style IPA using more adventurous New Zealand hops with a balanced malty finish.

As for what differentiates Green Bullet or Hairy Goat from other beers?  Good question. Well I wanted Mountain Man beers to be more than just beer.  I considered that most of us are having a hard enough time and life's too short not to have a bit of enjoyment to look forward to.  It's hard to explain but I want people to really enjoy drinking a Mountain Man beer from a bottle and if you come to the launch I hope it'll all make sense then.  I hope that didn't confuse you all even more now.

Sounds great. Any details on where the bottled beers are going to be stocked?

Drinking craft from the bottle? Controversial! I'll leave my snifter glass at home, so.. ;)

I would also be very interested in you sending a cask to Declan in Kavanaghs! :)

I should be able to make the launch night in the B&C.... Best of luck with it!!!
