Just had a pretty cool reply from gigayeast:

hi tom,
the smallest orders we wholesale are 25 units.  if you're serious i can quote you for 25.  otherwise, i'm willing to just do you a solid and get a couple pitches over there for the cost of shipping.  i don't need anything in return but if you have access to any interesting artisinal brewers yeast (i.e. strains derived from traditional brewerys in the UK or Germany) we could work out a barter for your club.

I'll take one anyway. Presume we would have no problem getting to 25, and would hope the shipping wouldn't be too extreme, as they are not that bulky. To use the fellas own term he sounds pure solid!

Personally I would like to get a vial myself, rather than to wait for it to be stepped up and split out. He seems sound, so would be nice to give him some business, as he mightn't get a whole lot more after the initial purchase.

Yeah I was excited about the whole barter thing but if people want to pay for vials plus shipping then I can get a quote. We're still 16 short for the 25 pack. It could be quicker to do barter & make slants than fill this group buy
