I got my order today.
I have 500g of Amber Malt and 500g Crystal 80 Spare.
The problem  is I only got 5Kg of Maris Otter so I am short 750g.
Will Pale Ale Malt be ok or should I get more Maris Otter.

Will_D

Ok James has confirmed the malt has landed so we will meet next tuesday to divy up the ingredients.

Also bring any swaps etc etc

Then as they say on the cake bakey prog: "3:2:1: BREW!!"

The pale malt will do fine.

nigel_c

I see HBC are now doing an Apollo pale ale kit. They must be keeping an eye on out thread.

Have just booked the next few gigs in the Boro

29th Oct: 7 pm: Barley wine ingredients

13th Nov: 7 pm: Normal Monthly Meet

10th Dec: 7pm: Christmas Party night

James is about to post up that we are short of one of the hops. Watch this thread!

I think its Centenial. If you have it bring it! If you need some then please bring a swap (70g or so)

See you all on Tuesday and we can see the secret tunnel and the crypt.!!

I've ordered 2 kg of amber malt, though unlikely to get it by Tuesday due to bank holiday.

Rats

I'll crush it and take the rest to Swords for distribution.

Just in case you'll need some I found extra 1kg of amber and 220g of centenial, so in total have ~350g of it (13.5% AA).
Also can donate some crystal if anyone is in a need.
So, who want some hops/malt? :)

Btw. Noticed that it was 1000 post so going to 'celebrate' it with a glass of ...
