Came across this yesterday, 6Kg tank full of gas is €95, €40 euro for a refill. I emailed them and cost of delivery would be approx €15 to €20.  Obviously you would need to buy a regulator as well, it's a fair bit of money but might be worth it for Stout lovers because the gas is so hard to access.  What do ye think?

I got my stout mix from them. Barkar got it for me when he was going there to get his.
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

Sound I'll probably go with them as well.  After the initial outlay it won't be too bad and it should last a while.

Are Ye sure they are going to charge Ye that, did you ask them to rent the bottle or are Ye buying it for keeps, I only ever rented and they only charged refill, talk to Barry there he is fairly sound  they always have plenty or stout and lager mixs

Damofto

I think that was to buy allright, Thanks a mill I'll give him a buzz in a couple of days and suss it out.

I got my stout tap from Keg Connection in the USA. http://www.kegconnection.com/stout-faucet-nitrogen-faucet/n  Its a thing of beauty.

I also got the shank, nipple, all the gas & beer line & disconnects with the tap for 152 USD delivered. They were sound & marked the value down so no customs.

My existing keggerator setup is from them also so it made sense to get this tap as I can simply screw off one of my perlick taps & the stout faucet fits on the same thread/shank as the tap Im taking off. Ive an old BOC regulator & from that Ive 5/16" gas/beer line going into a 5/16 corny gas disconnect. Carb stout for two days on CO2 & dispense on Nitro. Works amazingly well. Great cascade & head. Only way you'd know the difference is my head is a little thicker than that in the pub. (may need to adjust the nitro level on the reg)

Il post pics when Ive a camera.

Hi lads,

I just picked up 3 x Cornelius kegs and am looking to buy a gas tank, this looks the job, thanks so much for posting :D
I'm going to need mixed gas for my stout, and c02 for regular ale, do I need to buy one of each? or just the mixed gas tank. This site seems to state that you can use the mixed for both?

thanks in advance

You'll need one of each the regulators are different too. But CO2 can be got relatively cheaply take a look at these posts for AJ Edge in Bray
