Black hose is hi-pressure Propane!

Mains (i.e. Natural gas) is NOT high pressure! Its actually fairly low pressure!

DO NOT EFF ABOUT WITH MAINS GAS!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

The irony of Mister Burns looking to use gas has not been lost on me.

I have a gas cooker and a fire that both run on gas tanks, apart from the cost I wouldn't even consider gas as my method for heating my HLT or Boiler  :(

Burns: Who's that goat-legged fellow? I like the cut of his jib.
Smithers: That's the Prince of Darkness, sir. He's your eleven o'clock.
Burns: Ex-cellent.

Ive been using my super efficient stiove burning a country blend at about <30 euros per week for my whole place including my gym, with a proper efficient system I'd agree with ciderhead, Im buyin premium smokeless at 14.25 a bag and using less than 2 bags a week during cold weather.

I have never came close to this efficiency using my 'efficient' oil system so I generally just allow the oil heating to work as a frost stat system coming on when necessary and running to keep all pipes frost free.

Dont think we will ever go back to oil as a main fuel especially when u sit around the superstove on a winters evening with a nice beer ;)

Now you just have to work out how you use it for your HLT :)
