Loads of space and I can crank back anyway
How much did you folks get out if your barrel?

beerfly

i think we were pulling out roughly 16/17L (but i am crap a guessing distances/volumes)

Will_D

So just to keep this moving forward:

As a certain time (Xmas) is comming a few questions:

1. What is the timeline on this?

2. Common recipe or brew "similar dubbels"?

3. GB on ingredients or "why"
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

2 and 3 I would think are a given, not sure about 1) Mr S is Bossman around these parts, what say you?

Shane Phelan

My hope would be brew over Christmas, put in barrel in January and empty at the start of the summer?

If you need my batch I can brew up til xmas but can't for first three weeks in Jan. Just a consideration.

Are there any objections to upping the IBU levels a bit to ensure that it doesn't end up being too sweet?

I'm thinking at least another 20g of EKG at 60 minutes. Most people will be using 2012 harvest hops so they will already be degraded and higher quantities will be needed anyway to account for this.
