Just spotted the recipe says 6 abv's but its coming up at 8 abv on beersmith.i did'nt think 6 abv would have needed 2 pks for the 19L version, would it ?
but if it is 8 abv and a 23L it would.
Also only have one notts and one us 05,but can get another us 05 tomar.would like to use the notts, could i use a notts with a us 05.could they work together side by side  :-*

Yes and me thinks it might all be a bit much.wort tastes just like Christmas cake but when "some" of the sweetness goes after fermentation hopefully won't be so bad.I'll drop you in a bottle for crimbo will.
Santa would love this stuff.

Mmmm, looking foreward.

I am about to start me own Christmas "use-eee-er-uppers"

Going to be a spiced up Belgian Dubbel or more

I love Cardomon pods in the auld Indian. They are lemony and spicy any one care to express an opinion as to would they be good in a beer??

Will post up the recipe when my Rochfort starter is ready ( and I've designed it )

Thought about cardomon before, herself makes buns with them in and they're deadly.

I think it would work very well
Non modo......sed etiam

i've used them before super potent stuff,i used way to much in 2 small tsp's of pods, undrinkable stuff.i would'nt use more than 2g in a 23L batch.
