I've been looking around for a Malt Mill somethin like the Brewferm Adjustable Roller model offered by thehomebrewcompany and homebrewwest but with everything I'm trying to do, on a very limited budget until my next allocation in January, the price of a new one is outside my range.

Anyone got a spare, similar mill you'd like to convert to cash?

Many thanks. that just might fill the immediate need ;)

OK! Nothing doing there, anybody got an old mill they're willing to part with for smallish money. C'mon, it's supposed to be the season of good will and I'm in need FGS ::)

Hey Kellie! You won't be needing your old one, how about making a donation to a worthy cause. ;D

Unfortunately MCI don't do crushed malt and I'd really prefer to be able to crush malt as I need it rather than having a load of crushed malt hanging around in my grain bins.

You should be able to get a Corona mill for less than 40 euros. I've been using one with some of the modifications on this web page recently and it's been pretty good.

I did consider the Corona but after close examination decided I need an adjustable roller type to which I can attach a small motor and drive belt.

Guess I'll have to dig into the kitty and buy a new one  ::) .....I don't really like Turkey anyway and having a tree in the house is a fire hazard too :( .....she'll understand!

Use a drill with a hex attachment to a hex bolt on a corona mill and your sorted. I have an old corona mill,  plus a wooden jig to mount the Mill on plus a galvanised bucket that I mounted on plywood to use as hopper (takes about 5kg of grain). Will let it all go for 35 euro if you interested as I recently bought a 2nd hand roller Mill. You put the jig in a 33ltr bucket, screw your mill in to the big and then attach your bucket.  Fill with grain and use your drill. It is a bit fiddly at first but eventually works well once you get the hang of it. Have done 6 brews worn it this far.

Let me know if your interested.
