Faucet Connector for Wort Chiller?

Planning on getting my first brew on this Saturday but I'm missing one vital bit of equipment. I bought a wort chiller from the Homebrew Company but it didn't come with any tubing (I thought it would). So I've two main questions: where's the best place to get tubing in Cork for this (and for a run-off from the ball valve mash tun tap) and would any of ye know where I could get some form of adaptor to connect the tubing to my kitchen tap which is a faucet design? Doubt regular hose adaptors or jubille clips will fit so I'm pretty stumped   :-X

Also, where'd be best to get gromets for fermentor lids?

Your local hardware store will have hose pipe and a little attachment that screws onto your kitchen tap. Looks like this.

Sweet, thanks for the swift reply, it's much appreciated!  ;D

Garden hose and hose fittings are fine for the chiller. You should be able to find a fitting to suit your tap in B&Q, Woodies or local hardware shop.

I'm not sure where you'll get tubing for your mashtun runoff. Maybe Micro Hydraulics in Little Island? I could give you a meter or so of tubing if you can collect it from me (Waterfall / Ballincollig).

You'll probably be fine just letting it run into the kettle without tubing?

You might be able to get gromets in the Health shop in Paul St, over Tesco. I know they had a selection of bungs the last time I was there.

Most hardware stores will screw you on the price €10-€15. If you have an aldi nearby they might have some of these left over from the summer for < than €5.

Not 100% but I'm pretty sure I got mines for around €6-7 in a hardware shop up Dorset St. Definitely less than a tenner.

You can get tubing in B&Q in Mahon, but I usually get mine in one of the Co-ops, like Carrigaline, because it's all food grade as it's intended for dairy farmers.  For supplying the wort chiller though, it doesn't matter, so the B&Q stuff should be fine.
