Just got the tracking number from Colm. The hops are in transit

   

As its the AGM this Sunday maybe Saturday the 10th? (Sunday 11 is the Giro D'Italia - big Italian themed day in the club)

The hops have arrived!

So we now have 3 balesto pack. We are going to need a lot of bags both plastic and vaccuum.

I sugegest we pack into 250 gm lots as this is much easier.

Leaf hops are a LOT messier to pack than pellets so I'm afraid Jacobs sugestions is out. I suspect this Saturday is too soon as people with machines may need to order bags.

BTW: Bags work out cheaper (and LOT easier) than buying the roll!

Rember also to get re-imbursed for the bags from the club coffers.

Just a heads up: I have at last ordered vac bags (and I couldn't resit - A vac machine for me  )

And another: Please can you update the barrel thread if you are interested and also if you are not. That way we can move forward with this

As next weekend is a holiday weekend and James is off using a coolbox for its intended purpose  may I suggest we meet the Sunday after (8th) in the club at about 2pm?

That is nicely just before the next meeting - great for distribution logistics.
