Good price, tho bending springs are a bit hit and miss. You can still kink the pipe...

True but for the like of me it is a good place to start i think, i am only interested in the spring and cutter anyway  ;D

the flare has me excited! connect 2 pipes without needing a connector? get in there.
Don't order it yet though greg.
I'll test it out, try build something overambitious, report back.
You should have a thumbs up or down within a couple of weeks.
Save you college money for koka noodles and fishfingers... ;D

Interest in how you get on as I was going to get me one of these kits a few years back. The flaring of pipes is my interest. :)

I used one of these to make brake pipes for the car. You still need connectors. You put them over the pipe before flaring. The threaded connectors then pull the flares together. Its tricky to get the flares just right. Halfords sell the fittings in packs of ten but only brake line size. You'd have to source connectors for the pipes you want to use.

I'd say it would. We don't need to hold pressure like brake lines would.
Might even get away with having no solder if you can get a tight fit, and have a collapsible setup
