I use halfords distilled water for my starsan with no problems

Going to cause a bit of horror here. I use starsan in Halford water for about 6 months before I change. There's little strands of mold growing in the water but never had an infection and ph is below 3 always.

I also really clean everything and store kegs etc with a Campden tab in them to keep them sweet, courtesy of a tip from will_D
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Is halfords water ok for starsan ?
Yes it is probably de-ionised water or whats know as RO and is very pure.

A lot of us use RO water to make up a Starsan spray bottle.

As CH says it is cheap enough to make up smallish quantities fresh but not that cheap if you make up 20 litres a time and just use once!

They quote the dilution as Oz per Us 5 Gallons.

We use 1.5 ml to the litre of water
or a dilution rate of approx 1: 640

@Molc yer having a laugh you have found a ph resistant strain of mould would you ever sort that out :o :D :D :D!
Campden is great in fairness and seems to have been overtaken by SS.
I pop a tab in the top of a bubbler and normal water, the bubbling dilutes it into the U bend and I find I'm not contsantly topping up unlike starsan which just seems to bubble off all the time.
Just have to be careful don't get suck back as unlike SS, campden and yeast aren't great pals.

Hehe, it's something grey and strandy :) Looks like cobwebs that have stuck together in a clump. Doesn't seem to do any harm anyways :)
