Shiny took over for Richie about half way through and did BOS with myself and Kevin. Alex of course couldn't do BOS as he was in the final 6.

Another great evening in the pepper, as usual and plenty of drink ( very good drink) on demo. As usual standards high as I recall from previous events.
Very late finish on the last green bus home after 1am and felt it this morning :

No prizes for us but we did have a few new styles that we played with including APA and porter, all scored well and our bottled conditioned beers had a rough ride to the event due to the M7 being closed we had to travel an hour on backroads.
Average score from our South Kildare (6) entries  close on 40 so we are happy, very happy.

This also shows the overall standard was probably superb?

I thought your Bohemian Pilsner was one of the best beers I tried last night Bren. I know how difficult it is to brew that style well. If I can make it to Kildare on the 17th I hope I'll get to try some more!

Thanks for the compliment peter, and well done on urs...enjoy those few bottles Tis very difficult to do such a lager...Urquell are tryin for quite a while
