Hello Makers!

It's almost time for Dublin Maker 2014! We are very excited to have you with us and we cannot wait to meet you all and see your awesome work. Here's the list of all of our Makers http://www.dublinmaker.ie/makers-2014/

Just a few details for the big day;

Check in - Open's 8am

When you arrive, we need you to check in at the Green Room tent on the physics lawn shown in the layout map attached.

Here you'll get your Dublin Maker lanyard, t-shirt and where your space will be.

We need you to be set up and ready for the public by 9:30am.

Loading Bay

There is a loading bay outside the Science Gallery, but it is for commercial vehicles only. If you leave your car unattended, if could be clamped.

Parking

There will be limited free parking in St. Marks church, which is located across from the Science Gallery.

Social Media

We'll be using the #dublinmaker hashtag and you can find us on Twitter and Facebook.

After Party

The after party will be held in Sweeneys on Dame St from 9pm. We hope that you can come join us. It'll be a chance to wind down and meet the other makers. Oh and there will be cake!

Sunday BBQ

We will be having a wind down BBQ hosted by TOG on Sunday starting at 2pm. A chance for makers to relax with a burger and chat to other makers. http://www.tog.ie/2014/07/wind-down-bbq-for-dublin-maker/

Questions

If you have any questions or need any help, give one of us a shout. For those of you who haven't met us yet, I assure you we are real and not part of the Turing Test http://www.dublinmaker.ie/who-we-are/

We will have volunteers on the day to help cover your booths if you need a break. We will also have a photographer and videograpgher to capture the day.

Meet the Maker blog series

Last chance to have your profile featured on dublinmaker.ie

E-mail laura@dublinmaker.ie a brief overview (200 words), a photo/video and any links and we will post it.

I'm working on a ZigBee based wireless temperature monitoring thing for Saturday. I will print out custom enclosures for it as well if I can.
Will be thinking of you all tomorrow, wish I could be there but holidays trump it I am afraid. Any chance Shiny you would share details of this wireless gizmo once you have it perfected?
