Blueshed

bottled tonight with an OG  of 1005, with a FG of 1045 would that make an ABV of 5.8%.

got a total of 38btls in the end, 5 or 6 days in the hot press then up to the attic for 2 weeks before i sample.

Ciderhead

Do yourself a massive favour and find a cold place for the summer,  attic will be too hot and hide a bottle, crank one in September, you will amaze yourself with the result ;)

OMG! you've perfected the sober-up drink.
-5.8% ABV  ;D

But yeah, as ciderhear says, the attic can really suck for storage...
Too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.
Try and stick them in some corner where it's always an ok temperature.

If i makes you want to take off your jumper, probably too warm.
If it makes you want to put on a jumper, probably too cold.

had a btl last night and it tasted ok, proper dark colour with a little white head.

will bring a btl Thursday night to the Liffey meet up.
