Imports available in Ireland?

Hi everyone,
Ive been following the site for a month now and have got some great info about the homebrew/beer scene in Ireland. I currently live abroad but I will be back next week.
I curious what imports are readily available in Ireland, also where is there any decent bottle shops on the west coast?
Im in Korea at the moment and the majority of imports is west coast breweries like Ballast point , Green Flash , Lost coast and Mission.  the rest is mostly belgians like westemalle, chimay and Rochefort. We get brewdog and black isle over here too, (very popular)

I wonder are these beers available or what is the general opinion of these breweries back home.? Ill be based in achill Island for the summer and wouldnt mind finding the best bottle selection out west. If these beers are not available id like to bring some back too if there are any meet ups and tastings Id bring them along.

thanks for any info. I look forward to becoming a full member next week and hopefully getting a few bottles into the competitions. And just meeting a few brewers too.
Cheers

Check out drinkstore.ie Some places will have different beers but generally thats a good representation of whats available.

I'm not an expert on west coast off licences but Diceys Reillys in Ballyshannon, Donegal is an excellent spot. They have a large selection of Irish and imports.
If you're around Galway, I wouldn't know of Off licences but the Galway Bay Brewery owned bars around Galway City (Oslo, The Salt House, Scholars Rest and the cottage bar) have a large selection of draft and bottled local and imports.

Pretty sure there's a pub with craft on Achill-WG have a tap there. I must double check it's that island actually

Your best bet is Westport I'd say - at least one offie and there should be a reasonable selection in the Tescos - if not Tescos in Castlebar definitely do - nothing out of this world, but Fran Well and O'Hara's for the Irish, a good range of British stuff like Fullers and some German weissbiers as well.  You may get lucky with the offies as well, haven't been in any of them in years so couldn't tell you what the selection is like.

The BeoirFinder app will give you an idea about Irish Craft Beers. Would be a good starting point

Thanks for all the input. looking forward to getting back and trying a few beers and getting a beer in the fermenter. If anyone is out west over the summer drop a line if you fancy a few brew swaps. Ill hopefully get started mid June. Ill be back on the bottle line until the kegs arrive on the boat HA.
cheers!
