It's not essential but it seems like it would make things a lot handier. I'm planning to get one in my next order anyway.

Garry

If I had to choose between the rinser and the tree, I'd get the rinser.

Damien M

I got a tree first and it speeded up bottling a lot. I then got a rinser and again  massive time saving. Get  both you won't regret it

Sounds good. Thanks for replies

Qs

What makes the rinser quicker than a spray bottle with sanitizer in it?

johnrm

RichC

With rinser and tree it takes under 5 minutes to sanitize 40 bottles

Single handed operation.
...means you can use your mouse with your spare hand.  >:D

Deffo agree with that. Bottled 2 18 liter batches tonight 2 people in a little over an  hour.

Qs

Ok so now I need these then.

johnrm

Yep, more toys => less stress => better beer.

Next stop - Kegging.

I got a rinser and use the dish washer as the tree to drain the bottles and I've never looked back.

I think I blast each bottle too much though - it's one of those plunger rincers, so each bottle gets 3-4 plunges, so taking a bit longer than 5 mins for me. Maybe I can cut that down a bit...
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

3-4 plunges sound about right. Lots of wetted area and foam to get left behind and slowly drain out on the bottle tree! :). Another positive of a lot of pumping :P is that it generates a head of foam in the rinser into which the bottle neck is repeatedly dipped sanning the bottle cap area  ;D

RichC

One pump, each bottle. Lash through them in minutes
