Just a quick note to let you know the Annual fundraiser for St Francis Hospice is coming up in Malahide on Friday 13th June. You are more than welcome to come along – if you can't make it – maybe you 'll buy a couple of raffle tickets instead. Most of you know the drill from last time, not a whole lot changing. The poker is great craic and generally not taken too seriously – that said there will be cash prizes for the top 3 and prizes for all the players on the final table.

Last year round we all raised around €2000, probably won't do that this time round but every bit helps.  We are having a big raffle at the break with 'loadsa' prizes. If you are interested in coming along – make sure and let me know so I can get your name down.

Thanks a mil

James

James. Seems as I have an enpty corny of urs staring at me every time I open my storehouse, all nice and sanitised ill bang some english ale into it. Because my real ale weekend wiped all my session stock I may not be able to fill to the lid but Ill find at least 20 pints or thereabouts and hopefully get a full one .

Theres no guarantee I can get to the event so If any northsiders are passing on the dublin-cork road please let me know if u can drop a corny to partrige in malahide for the event

@Bren - Sorry about the notice Bren -  Im going to take Friday off to setup so I could knock out your direction to pick it up.
If anyone is driving by to get it closer that would be great as well.
Even if its only half full - that's grand. Its great to have variety.

@Cara - That would be greatly appreciated !

Jacob

I'll probably bring a cornie of a brown ale with me.

Now ... what about refrigeration? Do you have enough space to keep em cold?
Also, do you need any extra picnic taps for the day?

Partridge9

Great questions !

Unfortunately I only have kegerator room to cool 2 cornies. I can chill two more with buckets of Ice.
So probably best if you get your cornie to about 4C and bring it with you - I can wrap it when you arrive.

If you have a spare set of disconnects that would be great (we will label them straight away so they dont get mixed up).

I have one picnic tap /  three taps (with flow control) and Will_Ds Stout tap - so five on the go.

I can push your keg out with Nitro if its at 8 PSI,  if its 10-15PSI - we will serve it on CO2.

Alternatively if you get it the way you like it with a picnic tap (at your place)
- we could just serve it that way ... which might be the easiest   ;)

Thanks

James

Jacob

Ok, in that case I'll bring a bucket or two, picnic tap and some ice as well.
