So I just finished my first all grain brew day. Here's the recipe I went for. Its a clone of Russian Rivers Row 2 Hill 56 which is an american pale ale. Only change from original is I used Centennial instead of Simcoe, cos I had Centennial and not Simcoe.

Boil Size: 25.68 l
Post Boil Volume: 22.88 l
Batch Size (fermenter): 20.00 l
Bottling Volume: 18.00 l

Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.00 %
Est Mash Efficiency: 77.0 %
Boil Time: 60 Minutes

Ingredients:
------------
Amt                   Name                                     Type          #        %/IBU
3.00 kg               Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM)            Grain         1        59.4 %
1.65 kg               Pale Malt, Maris Otter (3.0 SRM)         Grain         2        32.6 %
0.40 kg               Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM)    Grain         3        8.0 %
24.00 g               Centennial [8.70 %] - Boil 60.0 min      Hop           4        24.6 IBUs

0.26 tsp              Irish Moss (Boil 10.0 mins)              Fining        6        -
30.00 g               Centennial [8.70 %] - Boil 1.0 min       Hop           7        1.3 IBUs
1.0 pkg               Safale American  (DCL/Fermentis #US-05)  Yeast         8        -
60.00 g               Centennial [8.70 %] - Dry Hop 7.0 Days     Hop           9        0.0 IBUs

Mash Schedule: Single Infusion, Medium Body, Batch Sparge
Total Grain Weight: 5.05 kg
----------------------------
Name              Description                             Step Temperat Step Time
Mash In           Add 13.18 l of water at 73.5 C          67.0 C        60 min

Almost hit my OG with 1.054 instead of 1.055. Very, very happy with that. Think I came in a bit short on my volume, around 2 litres or so short of the 22.88. One of the things I realised today is that I need a better way to measure my volumes. Might add some extra markings to my carboy in future.

Great day though. Really enjoyed it. Going to do a porter later this week hopefully.  ;D

Congrats. recipe looks great. Its a nice feeling isnt it. To know you did the lot. From grain to glass.  Now get back to cleaning up and have a brew.

I'd probably prefer it with Centennial than Simcoe anyway ;)
Well done Qs

Well yeah. I chose Centennial too cos I understand what it tastes like. I knew I liked it, I knew my friends liked it. Didn't want to be chancing something else on a first brew.

Yep it feels brilliant. Just hoping it takes off now and ends up nice. Cleaning all finished now.

Can't wait to go again this week.
