Removing myself from the list as it looks like I'll still be away on a work trip for this, unless I get amazingly lucky with my flights.

Sorry guys, I just learnt that I will have to cover my colleague's shift starting in the  afternoon, I will come as a spectator but I won't be able to brew...

I bottled my stout this Sunday, do you reckon it's too early to bring a couple for sampling? I usually give it 3 to 4 weeks but do you think it'll be ready?

Dr Jacoby

I won't be able to bring any brewing equipment with me but I will have some yeast for Shiny and I can bring up my pH meter (it's a pretty good one) and some water testing kits. I'll also bring along some bottles of lager (Munich Helles and Vienna Lager) and some barrel aged Imperial Stout + DIPA.

I have lots of vac-packed hops in the freezer that I'd like to sell. If there's any interest I'll post some info here. I have stuff like centennial, citra, amarillo, sorachi ace, EKG, saaz, columbus etc. They're mostly in 100g or 200g packs. Let me know if you're interested in buying some and I'll work out some prices.
Every little helps

Could anyone bring a small gas canister and I'll bring a half keg of hefeweiss? I've only mixed gas left.

I might take some Sorachi, Peter

I'd take 100g of Citra, Centennial and Sorachi Ace off you Peter. I'll bring a sample of my water to test if that's alright?

Mark

Dr Jacoby

Sure, no problem. I have a carbonate hardness test kit and a calcium test kit. They're the two key bits of info you'll need to figure out how to treat your water. We can have a proper chat about it on Saturday!

Well lads, so who's confirmed brewing? I think I can do an extract brew, Im just waiting confirmation of a lift home but one small hiccup I'm facing is a boiler - I haven't looked at my boil kettle since the element burnt out while back, not sure if I can salvage the element with a clean or if I need to replace it.
Do I remember someone saying there was a spare boiler in tog? Or was that a mash tun..?

An alternative is that I can do up a wine kit, just to throw that in the mix for the day that's in it.

Shane Phelan

I'm brewing anyway, could definitely do with someone else brewing to keep things interesting along with the other stuff going on. There is no equipment in TOG at the moment other than a full fermenter. We will be talking about that 2moro about what we are going to do about having a permanent set of equipment so that people don't always have to lug in equipment to do a brew. Peter can you bring some of that buffer solution for the PH meter, I want to use some to soak that sponge in the lid of mine?

Hi Dr Jacoby,

I would be interested in 100g of amarillo and 100g of Citra. Do you have any Nelson Sauvin by any chance (just trying... Lol)?
