Thread style of UK/IE paintball tanks for homebrew kegging

I'm moving to Ireland soon and getting equipment together to bring with me; ill only be in Ireland for 2-5 years and will eventually be coming back to the states.  I am wanting to bring my kegging equipment

Few questions here;

does anyone use CO2 paintball tanks for smaller keg setups?

Does anyone know what thread/type of adapter is used on a paintball tank in the UK vs. the US?

From the websites the paintball thread looks universal.  If so I could get a CO2 paintball tank filled in IE that I bring from the US?  That would save me having to get the different tank over there that I would have to get rid of before I left. 

However I have seen the threads about the converted extinguisher bottles and 25 EUR looks like a decent price for sure

Or should I just get a regulator and gas bottle in IE?

I can't say I know of anyone using the paintball carriages so can't help there.
You might be best to get extinguisher here as they are cheap to refill and might be less hassle than bringing more gear. You should be able to get rid of it handily enough when you are departing.

Im thinking extinguisher as well now.  Bringing gear isnt a problem as its going to be on a cargo container paid by work.  I did see that it looks like alot of places will not fill a paintball tank, outside of an event, due to liabilities
