Our water is crazy hard up to 550mg/l coffee machine, washing machine, water softener resin, kettle get regular doses. Half the time when I go to the chemist they only have 100g or 200g.

http://mistralni.co.uk/products/citric-acid-anhydrous ;D

£16.99 for 1kg? Eurasia charges €1.50 for 400g.

Never said it was good value boss however that is laboratory grade products which i doubt your Eurasia sell, also i doubt they sell from 1kg up quantities ? Besides that is still a good link for other chemicals. ;D

You're right, you didn't! ;)

Eurasia sell it as food stuff. Not sure why you'd need lab grade for home brew use.

Umm could be because the more pure something is the less of it you need to use ? Mistral also provide MSDS(afaik) on each page of each product they sell. I got some stuff from them but i wouldn't buy citric acid at that price point from them, that said if for some unknown reason i wanted kilos of the stuff it would be the like of them i would go to. Only posted the link as you never know who might find it useful. ;D
