I'm based between Roscommon town and castlerea in Bally one and am planning on brewing either a Sierra nevada clone or a leffe clone and could do with some help :)
Beer
1 is good, 2 is better, 3 is enough & 4 isn't half enough

You've been drinking in Harlows then :) Did you find a Sierra Nevada clone recipe, my wife is very keenon that too might make a batch to keep her quiet.

Hopping looks weird in that recipe. I'd use more Magnum at 60, add the Perle at 20 or 15, and all the cascade for the 5 minute addition.

I thought so aswell (except for the last cascade addition) but it is a very well reviewed recipe from homebrewtalk.com, can't remember who's) so I'll try it as is and see how close it get.   If it's not right sure what harm it'll be nice anyway :)

Edit: can't remember why I added the magnum, I think I researched the recipe and that the brewery changed the recipe and they used magnum aswell as Perle for the full boil boil. Still it'll be beer

Cheers for that are you going to do it as a single stage ferment too, wondering would you need a conical for that to get the trub out.

.i like to leave my beers for at least 3wks in primary then if necessary move to secondary to cold crash and clear for about 10 days.
