Sorry to be the one to ask the stupid question here ( ), but what actually happens, and where? And why is frequency important?

There are lots of beer styles.
23-ish categories averaging 3 sub cateories - 69 beers roughly
It takes 20 mins to get the most from any 1 beer. (and this depends entirely on the beer)

You could do it in a day but you'd be leaving in an ambulance.

I believe the we have the venue and we have some volunteer speakers
I dont mind helping out with the administration and organisation.

I'll ping the various speakers to ensure they are still up for giving a class.

Great stuff - I think the competition helped with the interest as well.

I'd like to mirror the Dublin course in Galway for anyone in the west lookin to take the exam.

Thats a great idea - we can get the class notes to ya via PDF - just need to get to the pale for the exam  (and maybe the off-tasting class)
