Saturday 10th October here @maltcracker Kildare we will be having a tasting session discussion group on BJCP tasting / styles brewing and so on.

Its a great opportunity to come down for extra support from proven and experienced Brewers and Judges and perhaps a skilled Somellier will be present to help out as well.

Kellie and Myself would like to invite 2015 students to come down and enjoy a day of tasting, discussion and learning.
Is this still on offer

Thats a really generous offer folks
I am away at the footy in Poland so cant make but I really think this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge.
Bren gave me a run down on what he is planning, and understanding body, dryness, finish, texture, this sort of stuff is invaluable for the exam.
Hopefully we can squeeze it into next years course as well, if ye'll have us.

On the exam - if you havent got am email and you were on the list - please send me an PM. We might have a free slot depending.

Does anyone have any preferences on venue? I was thinking Alfie Byrnes, how does that suit?

Alfie's work for me, but probably any other place in Dublin would :)

molc

Yeah Alfie's is fine here as well. I'm on the dart line, so pretty much anywhere in the city works.

I have oxidized stout if you would like to take it as an off flavour. It's obviously going down the sink either way

Hi Andrew, will be away that weekend unfortunately. Any chance of bringing a few along to maltcracker this Sat also?

GlasbrewInc

Would love to go to both but don't think I'll be able to.... Have fun all
