I'm looking at sheds at the moment but i need something small and easy to move later, i came across the keter plastic sheds. They get great reviews. Is anyone brewing in a plastic shed?

Will_D

Build a decent sized big shed as you want.

When you need to move it just call in one of these:
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

This to me is like "Mega Yellow Poorn on 8 axles" I really want one of these!

In a rental with a small concrete yard, hence the need for small and easy to move

I've recently figured out the secret to sheds. It's not about the size, it's about what you effin' do with it. Get your storage figured out, and maybe get your 3 tier brew kit on a pallet on castors, and you're sorted.

Don't let me put you off a great big shed, just sayin' that us with little ones have found good ways around the size issue.

Will, even the 72:1 scale replica of that would be big enough to move my shed.

rukkus

How big is your shed? Wondering what i can get away with

Tom

Well, Rukkus, I'm glad you asked! 7' x 4'6" with a 5' x 4' lean-to!

It contains ALL my tools, spare bits of wire, plumbing, bottles, and misc. crap, as well as a washing machine, keezer, OFCH boiler, and the lean to contains the bar. I do most of the brewing in it (although I have to open the door). It's about the three dimensional space. A 3 tier 50l keg-based brewery will fit vertically into 7 foot high NO problem. That leaves the rest of the footprint for mopeds, garden shredders, etc. :)

Nice i'm looking to house a 70l boiler, 70l hlt and a 60l mashtun

Tom

Nice! Where did you get your 60l mash tun from?

Just had a look at the keter sheds. They look brilliant. I'd say if you're going small you'll be able to brew in a 6'x8'. Obviously the bigger the better, like, but it CAN be done.

I got it from the german pot guys on ebay, its in the process of being converted at the moment :D

When did you get it?  Last I heard/tried they wouldn't post to Ireland anymore.
