Gas Regulators

A quick question for the clever people.
I need to buy a dual argon regulator but they come in male and female connectors.
Do all the argon bottles in Ireland have the female "valves"?

Most are female on the bottle, same fitting for the smaller CO2 and CO2/N2 mixed gas, some suppliers are different but not the norm
