She got it in the City. She works near Jervis so where the nearest Aldi is around there.

Aldi induction pot is only 12 litres

I was at Coolmine recycling centre today, there were some fridges put to one side for disposal. A lot of good functioning stuff tends to get thrown out to recycling centers to be replaced by newer models. If the fridge's still work they would be grand for brewing after a thorough cleaning. If they don't work just bring it back.

They have signs up to say goods are not to be removed

We don't allow people to take stuff from the skip sites in Derry either but if you speak to the staff you might find they are willing to turn a blind eye. We definitely get the odd fridge that is in perfect working order and has just been dumped because a person is upgrading or remodelling etc.

The reason you can't is because somebody took one from a recycling centre about 10 years ago, it was faulty started a garage fire and the recipient sued the council, can't remember which one it was in the midlands Laois or Offaly I think.
They won the case as judge ruled that they were a responsible party and should have ensured, even though it was free it was of merchantable quality

Judges love making simple stuff complicated don't they.

Got one of these in Aldi Buncrana this evening....they had 3 left if anyone in the North-West is after one.

It was a guy down the Murrough told me as there was a fridge I had my eye on

Sorcerers Apprentice

I think it's also to deter the Pickaroonies, who used to frequent the old land fill sites

At least you managed to get to talk to him in the 3 hour window they work every week.

They should just cut off the plug!

That way it is no longer functional and cannot be used as is.

Now if I fit a plug to use then its my responsibility.
