We at Mottly Brew would like to wish Home Brew Centre the best of luck for Saturday and their new adventure it is not easy starting a new business these days as we well know. If you need any help advice or if you run short of anything be sure to let us know and we will be only too happy to help. Kevin has a been a friend of The Mottly Brew for a long time he was actually our first customer in our original shop and we hope to keep it that way.

I was reading your kind words elsewhere and yes I have put in a lot of hours and long weekends, early mornings collecting stock ( not from them you joking  ;) ) and being in business is not 9 - 5. I often start my day at 7 even though I open the shop at 9.30. I think most of you are aware by now we have moved to bigger premises which has loads of off street parking with no clampers looking for their Christmas bonus you were warned be careful.

I have just restocked all my grain our grain is on public view (never pre crushed with best before dates available ) and always fresh as we deal with a local brewery near us.

We have added Mosaic, Centinnel, Cascade, and Simcoe to our hop range this week also wheat Munich 15 and wheat Munich 25.

Some people think I take Mondays off ! I use Mondays to do my banking collecting from my local suppliers which I use as much as possible fortunately being in Dublin a lot of things are on my door step brewing wise. The shop is still open 9.30 - 5.30 as we cannot afford to be closed and lose a valued customer.

I am hoping to be opening Sundays in the near future running up to Christmas just need to sort staffing issues my misses will boot me out if I suggest working 7 days a week.

Having mentioned Christmas its coming upon us very quickly if you want to send us your all grain recipes by email, text message or social media please do and we can put them together for you save you waiting in store for it to be weighed and crushed.

@mrmeindl unless you live in a bubble you may have noticed that most shops of note put their Christmas decorations up as soon as halloween is over, so if you have nothing positive to say then say nothing
