I see from looking at the last group buy that none of our affiliates were able to step up and offer a good discount on kegs the last time, but wonder if it might be worth asking again?

All the affiliates sell brand new kegs, the ones from can direct are reconditioned, hence the reason they're 50 euro cheaper.

Ok...but if Candirect can get there hands on reconditioned kegs why cant they do it also? I am sure they have alot of contacts in the trade?! Seems strange that they wouldn't try. We all put a lot of business their way.

Would it be worth contacting the Germans again. I know they stopped taking our calls after a while but that was along time ago so they might not mind us contacting them again. :)

Hi Folks
I'll give Can direct until Wendes, if no reply I'll try again but if that fails. I've no qualms with seeing if any of the affiliates can help us out!

molc

I can send an introductory mail Wednesday with you cc'd if they're not responding. It can be a bit hit and miss to stir them into action.
One thing that would be good is to get a running tot of everything were ordering. I can put the part numbers against them from the last order in that mail as well, which will just put it on a plate for can direct.

Could someone give a very quick rundown of whats what for keg newbies?  Two main questions I have are:

- What kit is needed for basic minimum setup?
- What capacity are the kegs?

Hi there,

Took part in the last keg group buy, thanks Molc!
Happy to take over English-Polish correspondence if you're still interested in dealings with that Tomasz fella.

In the end he is looking for business and might consider putting the whole deal through Ebay/Paypal whatever Escrow we might come up with.

No previous dealing experience with the one in question but wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who is selling loads of these kegs through "Polish Ebay" = allegro.pl

Just my 2c.

Cheers,
B.
