We have a limited number of the new Bulldog flexible heat pads at close to half the price of competing pads:
http://www.homebrewwest.ie/better-brew-heat-pad-for-fermenters-up-to-33-litres-6233-p.asp
So new, there are no images of them yet. We've only got about 20 of them in stock; we are posting here first.

As wholesalers, we got a special on these plus Bulldog brewbelts (again only a few in stock) so we've passed the discounts on:
http://www.homebrewwest.ie/better-brew-heating-belt-precision-temperature-control-use-with-inkbird-itc-308-6268-p.asp

Unfortunately we can't supply the Inkbird ITC-308 directly because our insurance won't cover electrical goods imported from China. We are working on this, but its a product liability issue: once its outside Europe there seems to be no cover.

You can get one on amazon.co.uk on for about Euro 37 delivered to Ireland within a few days. Search for "Inkbird ITC-308". Its free delivery to Ireland: the free UK delivery on Prime seems to work with Ireland too when the order value is about 35 euros or more. But you have to click on the delivery info to see it.

If you are going to buy the best brewing system, them buy the best malt mill.

We're doing an extract brewing demo in the new shop this Saturday (21 June 16). Kick off about 1:30 PM.

Not sure what yet, one of the lads wants to make a simple pilsner with the new craft range yeasts, but another wants to make a 9% ABV Double IPA with loada hops including about 200 grams of citra.

Come along, make a recipe suggestion and I'll see what we can do. We only have one boiler planned so far, but I'm sure we can find more.

Just regarding online ordering, there are a lot of items that are out of stock on the site, will you be updating this?

Also for the specialty malts like Carapils or Chocolate malt etc. it would be handy to be able buy 1kg amounts.

We've just completed a full stock take and are updating stock on the websites over the weekend. We will then reorder any low stock items, so everything should be back in stock soon.

When do you expect to have some Pilsner malt in stock?
Tapped:
Fermentors:
Bottled:

HomeBrewWest

We are working on it, at least a couple of weeks.

But our priority is to get stocks up to date and then reorder everything: if you pop into the Galway store I'll show you the sheer scale of the move and vast amount of stock. Its taken forever to get it all sorted. But it will be fabulous when we get it finished.

We've finally counted everything and are currently updating out databases which then take about 8 hours to update all the web sites.

In the meantime, there will be some anomalies (like zero stocks for starter kits, hops, yeasts etc) until the whole thing stabilizes by about Friday afternoon.

It does mean however, that everything on the site is actually in stock and available for shipping.

We've also reordered from several suppliers so we should be fully stocked over the coming weeks.

We've found many products not on the web site, so we will be busy adding these. And we've come across many short dated items (because they weren't on the site) so we will be discounting these too.

Some discontinued items aren't worth putting on the site and we will just give these away for free in the shop, starting next week sometime. I'll update here as we know more.

Although we can't disclose what's being launched until closer to the day, we can tell you that for NHC members, its a biggie!

Shop will open from 12 to 6 to give us time to demo new products.

As usual, there will be massive discounts in-store on the day so do try to keep Saturday 16th July free for a trip to Galway.

Meanwhile, watch this space!
