Thought I'd say hello and introduce myself somewhat formally now that I've taken over as President. I'd say most people know me anyway but for those who don't, my name is Thomas, from Derry. I joined the NHC when I was living in Maynooth at college and was active in Capital Brewers before I got a job in the local council back home in the glamourous world of waste management.

I've been brewing for about 6 years, orginally doing kits and then onto extract before starting all grain when Rossa taught me the ropes at a Capital Brewers brewday. Generally about 80% of what I brew is American style pale ales but I'm gonna start branching out more from now on I think.

Looking forward to the next year anyway and I'd like to say thanks to Rossa and the rest of the team of volunteers that make the NHC what it is. I have big shoes to fill! Always available to be contacted via PM if anyone needs me too.
