Did a quick mockup here of an alternative idea. Colours and image can be changed, it's more of a layout thing.

Looking good, but I would replace grain ear with hop cone.

I'll do another pass later. I can make the central text look like it was put on with a rubber stamp and replace the icon with the NHC hop cones and grain maybe?

That will look great on a banner.
I think the National Homebrew Club bit will be incorporated on all the banners as Boiler Plate text!

Plus the Raven design will make for a killer Tee.

Wacky idea: Instead of the Raven lasering our logo what about there is  a pile of all the other club logos that he is destroying

I'll see can I get a decent raven outline to use. If we pick that as the central image theme, then there is a logo, banner and Tee that can be made, using it as the central piece.

Ok here's a raven and the NHC logo. I can't seem to find a nice hop cone outline to use, but if I did, I'd put it in the center in white.
When you take out the national homebrew club text, it really screams a slogan should be there instead. Anyone feelign original?

As for colour:

Malhide's signature colurs are Gold on Black

And NO its not just the rugby club that uses those colours but the sailing club as well. Any other references for Black/Gold = Malahide?
