Beers – I’ll be bringing a few of mine, hopefully others can bring theirs
A pre-BrewCon event, upstairs Against the Grain on Thursday 21st April at 7pm.
Gordon Strong Gordon Strong, head of the BJCP worldwide, is in town next week & will have a BJCP orientated chat with us, go through a beer and score it and even talk about results.
The cost will be €8. If you would like to attend please post in this thread and transfer €8 over to the club Paypal account.
A special pre-BrewCon treat we are hosting a Leann Folláin tasting event in upstairs Against the Grain on Thursday 21st April at 8pm. Gordon Strong will be joined by Conor Donoghue, Head Brewer at O’Hara’s where Gordon will lead a guided tasting and himself and Conor will then discuss recipe formulation and how to brew a good Irish Export Stout. Aside from this it will also be a good opportunity to share a drink with Gordon before BrewCon.
The cost will be €8 and this will include a pint of Leann Folláin. If you would like to attend please post in this thread and transfer €8 over to the club Paypal account. Numbers will also have to be capped at 20 to keep it nice and intimate (not in that way
