Hi Pat, how's tricks?

Were you happy with your harvest this year?

Just a quick question regarding the hop plant you gave me in July. There was another plant growing in the pot, I think it may be a tomato plant? I didn't kill it as I was interested to see how it turned out but it seems to have suffocated the poor cascade rhizome. Is it a tomato plant?

Maybe they will cross pollinate and produce some Hopmato fruits????

A nice Hopmato and a pint of DIPA should quench any hophead's lupulin thirst!

Looks like solanum (nightshade) family. Black Nightshade maybe. If it is, it's poisonous. Don't go putting any in your beer.   ???

Ok, it'll be getting the chop tonight so.

Hopefully it's roots aren't so entangled with the hop plant that I'll have to pull both.

This is poisonous so I presume gloves are necessary?

Got 200g off my cascade plant today. Pretty chuffed with that Pat. Next year I'll let it grow much bigger. Thanks again
