Hi Guys,
One of these has fallen into my lap, are you thinking what im thinking. It has a 67 litre internal internal box. If i can find a food grade plastic box with the same dimensions it should do as a mashtun?
http://www.coldchaintech.com/products/kooltemp-gts-171.php
Great for insulation but styrene monomer in that box in contact with wort beer should allow your balls to drop off, however get yourself a large transparent heavy gauge bag inside it and you should be good to go, sparging could be interesting
Edit, its not EPS so no Styrene Monomer, its Isocyanates in PUR :o
Make a great fermentation chamber
I was thinking of replacing the the inner PUR box with a HPDE Food grade box. for the copper mainifold.

Will have you ever played Mornington Crescent?
Sorry off topic but I will cover my tracks with a response to Covey
Covey the answer to your question is 1/2 inch copper required for your manifold.
@ Will I'll start you off, Ealing Broadway
@ Covey, just remembered speaking to Johnrm today some plumbers merchants sell elbows and T's with no lead or critically flux pre-installed in the joints.

No But Here We Go Agian OT Will Will google it
Btw: Totally OffTopic!! Alarm:
When I worked in .de the locals wanted to know how many "wills" I could get into a sentence:
"Will Will will me Will's will" Can you beat that??
After Previous posts this evenning: Now half cut: But WTF its Friday tomorrow 8)
I'm on topic!, Covey you could also consider Qualpex
@Will West Acton
i will post an acutal pic of the box tomorrow
The problem with those boxes is that they don't take a lot of abuse :(
@Will North Acton
Wills will will be known when Wills will is read by solicotor Will of Wills will and son will. :D
And on topic qualpex is fine to use :)
If Will.i.am wills it Wills will will be known when Wills will is read by solicitor Will of Wills Will and Sons will. :D
But Qualpex is only really good up to 90 ;)
Thanks for the comprehensive incomprehensive advice, FFs
So if Wills will is to have his will read by solicotors Wills wills and son will,would Wills relatives,particulary his cousin Will from his mothers side be happy or will the rest of the Will family object to cousin Will getting too much. :)
And on topic your correct about qualpex being not as good as copper.
There is no worries here right...for a mash tun manifold? I have been using one for a couple of months to increase the size of my tun.

Qualpex is WRAS approved (Drinking Water safe.) see attached ok for your mash but not for anybody that was thinking of using it for anything over 8% alcohol.
Prefer copper meself
