Covey

Hi Guys,
One of these has fallen into my lap, are you thinking what im thinking. It has a 67 litre internal internal box. If i can find a food grade plastic box with the same dimensions it should do as a mashtun?

Great for insulation but styrene monomer in that box in contact with wort beer should allow your balls to drop off, however get yourself a large transparent heavy gauge bag inside it and you should be good to go, sparging could be interesting

Edit, its not EPS so no Styrene Monomer, its Isocyanates in PUR :o
Make a great fermentation chamber

Covey

I was thinking of replacing the the inner PUR box with a HPDE Food grade box. for the copper mainifold.

Sorry off topic but I will cover my tracks with a response to Covey

Covey the answer to your question is 1/2 inch copper required for your manifold.

Ciderhead

@ Will I'll start you off, Ealing Broadway

@ Covey, just remembered speaking to Johnrm today some plumbers merchants sell elbows and T's with no lead or critically flux pre-installed in the joints.
